Produced by Ronda Mills,
West Coast Artists

"The Riviera Village Association is proud to announce a completely reinvented, delightfully elegant outdoor festival for 2002.

The Riviera Village Arts Festival scheduled for April 27 and 28 from 10 to 6:30, is being produced by Ronda Mills of West Coast Artists, a well-respected art show producer since 1983. This unique show will prove to be the gem of outdoor events in the South Bay focusing on fine arts and crafts, along with a classy wine garden (sponsored by Bristol Farms and Friends of the Vine), music appropriate for viewing art a food court area filled with gastronomical delights.

The intention is to bring an art festival comparable to the Laguna Art Show to the South Bay, this seaside Riviera Village being the ideal venue. Attracting artists from all over California, there will be a remarkable mixture of painters, sculptors, photographers, and other artists along with seriously creative fine crafters. There will be no commercial, manufactured, imported or purchased for resale work in this upscale event.

This cultural event does not forget about children! There will be an extensive children's area with art and crafts activities for all ages to participate in. Put together and sponsored by Elizabeth Blanco, founder of Superclown Children's Art Gallery located in Old Torrance, children will delight in being able to make and take home lots of fun projects.

Musical inventory is vitally important to the ambiance of any event, and this festival is no exception. Focusing on creating a melange of live music, the range of sounds is certain to please all ages and all tastes. Even if art isn't your cup of tea, come to listen to these top name, award winning musicians from all over California. (see schedule)

Many local businesses will have booths at the Festival along with an expanded area housing community networking and information."
